How to keep kids entertained in dental offices?

Hello,

Besides toys, children’s books, and cartoons, what else are effective in keeping children entertained in dental offices?

If we were to put up digital signage (digital posters on LCD screen), what kind of material will keep kids entertained? We don’t want to play cartoons to the kids. We want to display materials that are related to dental but yet attract the kids that they will want to look at it.

Should we play some animations/flash videos of kids brushing their teeth, flossing, etc? Will these be enough to keep the children occupied?

Thanks!

Welton

have you considered computers with dental related games on them? even things like dental trivia. how many dental tools can you locate in the screen in 30 secs…..

Movie Poster and its Histroy in India

Film Posters are printed or made for the purpose of marketing the Movie that is set to release or has been released in the local theatres or cinema halls. There can be large variety of sizes a Movie Poster since it sole intent is to meet up with the advertising needs of the Film Producers or Distributors. There have been several versions of movie posters in regards to the content, film, scenes, country and size of the Poster. It usually contains Pictures or Images along with text such as Title of the film, tag line, names of the producers and other familiar cast and crew of the film that is considered to attract the audiences into watching the film. With time Posters have advanced from a Hand Painted to digitally created Banner that is printed in large volumes using digital printers in the desired sizes and colours

In India movie posters are displayed inside and outside of the Movie theatre, Cinema Hall, Multiplexes and also on streets and shops with the sole intent to attract audiences for the Movie. It has always been seen that the same style of Image is used in the distributor’s Press book, Newspaper Press Releases, DVD covers, VHS covers and website of the film.

Use of Posters in Film promotion has been since a long time as these where initially used as placards to be displayed outside the theatre to announce the onlookers about the timing and schedules of the films running inside the theatre.  By the year 1900 the industry began to print images of scenes from the film which where a series of images depicting the array of images from the film as a preview to the prospective audiences.

Originally Film Posters where printed for the sole use of Theatre owner displaying them in their galleries as a means to let the audiences know about the schedule of the films. In the United States they were usually returned after the particular movie’s run was stopped as the paper of each poster was recycled by National Screen service so they could re-produce it in an eco-friendly manner. The NSS had a nationwide operation. It was during these times they were not thrown away and thus went into the hands of avid poster collectors which gave birth to a very famous hobby and enthusiasm to collect them. The fact that some collectors did keep them safe from being spoilt and fading, gave a trend where everyone saw a rise in the value and demand with passage of time and thus this craze always grew rather than declining.

During 1980′s the American Film Studio began to undertake printing of Posters, its distribution all In-house made them overtake the job from NSS and thereby made it widely spread industry. There is an Annual key Award that is sponsored by The Hollywood Reporter which also has an Award for the best movie posters, under several genre of films such as Horror, Comedy, Drama, Action, Romance and adventure film posters. They also recognize the key art as a very important means to help distributors promote a film and thus attribute to its success. The Silence of Lamb Film poster was declared the best poster in India for the past Thirty years.
